I am a Minister, Personal Development Consultant and Inspirational Speaker who was born in Detroit, Michigan. I graduated from Farmington Public Schools then furthered my education at Detroit College of Business and majored in Marketing. I received my Ministers license at the Merle Ruth Cranford Memorial Training Institute.
After gaining a university level education, I went into the fields of Customer Service and Administrative support where I worked for such companies as Blue Care Network and Ford Component Sales. While working with high level executives, I realized I needed to enhance my communication and leadership skills, so I joined Toastmasters International. It didn’t take long before I was moving up the ranks. With my core communication and leadership attributes, I received many certificates and awards and was nominated and elected President of my Toastmasters club.
After serving as President of my club, I served as Toastmaster Area Governor of 4 clubs in District 28 as the liaison between the district and local levels. I provided strategies to increase club membership, and to ensure that each club maintained a positive status within such a large organization.
I realize that my education, leadership experience and positive influence are vital to building healthy, strong communities. Furthermore, I am passionate about creating programs that benefit adults, teens and children, which is why Strategic Image Consulting, LLC was birthed. Initially, the company's mission was to cultivate effective communicators by strengthening communication, presentation and leadership skills. However, the mission has expanded to incorporate mentorship as well.
I am the President/CEO of two successful businesses and one non-profit organization called Success in Motion. I am member of the Farmington/Farmington Hills Optimist Club and the Farmington African American Parent Network (FAAPN). I enjoy volunteering with the Junior Achievement Organization, Detroit Public Schools Community District, and by speaking at conferences for various religious and community organizations.
